The Sandbox is Sand Valley Golf Resort’s 17-hole par-3 course. Yes, that’s right: 17 holes, all par-3s.
There’s a canoe full of beer on the first tee.
There are holes as short as 45 yards and as long as 160 yards.
They give you a charming little carry bag.
You can play barefoot.
You can play as an 8-some.
It’s fantastic.
I am now of the belief that every golf course/resort in the world should have one of these. As much pure fun as the game of golf can offer.
