Collin Morikawa produced a stunning final-day charge to win The 149th Open at Royal St George’s in 2021.
He will head into this year’s 150th Championship as the defending champion having won the Claret Jug at the first attempt.
The American went toe-to-toe with two former champions, Jordan Spieth and Louis Oosthuizen on the last day to emerge victorious and added another major title to his PGA Championship from 2020.
