Go on a journey with filmmaker and golfer Erik Anders Lang, as he travels to Scotland to discover the origins of The Open and the path it has taken to become what it is today.
Erik visits the site of the very first Open, Prestwick Golf Club, in Ayrshire to learn how The Open Championship first came to be, the story behind the Claret Jug, and what makes this Championship so respected and revered around the world.
The journey takes you to Open venues Royal Troon and of course The Home of Golf, St Andrews, to learn how one man’s death led to the birth of the original and most historic tournament in the game of golf.
The full film premieres on May 1 2020, head over to TheOpen.com and join The One Club for free access.
