Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2022 3M Open

Time is running out on the 2021-22 PGA Tour season, and Scott Piercy knows it. With the 3M Open one of three remaining events before the start of the FedEx Cup playoffs, the 43-year-old finds himself on the wrong side of the top 125 bubble, sitting 138th in points entering the week at TPC Twin Cities. It’s why he has been so aggressive in changing things up in Minnesota: new driver, new putter, new caddie and, unfortunately, new shoes.

Blister problems aside, Piercy has a four-shot lead over Emiliano Grillo (and five clear of Doug Ghim and Tony Finau) entering the final round following rounds of 65-64-66, which broke the tournament’s 54-hole scoring record at 18 under by three strokes. While trying to grab a fifth career tour title, he’s in great position to get right for the FedEx Cup Playoffs, something the tour veteran has missed just once in the last 13 seasons. Additionally, a victory would make him the oldest winner on the PGA Tour this season; Chez Reavie became the first 40-something to win a week ago at the Barracuda Championship.

Winning also means Piercy would earn the biggest paycheck of his PGA Tour career. The champion at the 3M takes home a prize money payout of $1.35 million from an overall purse of $7.5 million. Piercy’s previous largest payday was his share of first place ($1,036,800) when he and Billy Horschel won the 2018 Zurich Classic title.

Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer who made the cut this week at TPC Twin Cities. Come back shortly after the tournament and we’ll update this with individual player names and specific payouts.
